Hassan to start official visit to Turkey on Tuesday

Caretaker Minister of Health Hamad Hassan is expected to head tomorrow to Turkey as part of a tree-day visit.

Hassan is set to meet his Turkish counterpart Fahrettin Koca and will pay visit to pharmaceutical and medical supplies factories and will be briefed about the Turkish medical tourism strategy.

Hassan stressed that the aim of the visit is to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the health field, mainly that Turkish medicines and medical supplies meet in their quality and prices the Lebanese scientific standards.

He also noted that cooperation in this field constitutes an important support for the health and pharmaceutical sector in Lebanon, amid the delicate and sensitive conditions it is witnessing at the current stage.
