French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said on Friday that Paris and Washington will "act together to put pressure on those responsible for the crisis in which Lebanon has been sinking for months.”
 
Le Drian’s comments were made during a press conference with his US counterpart Anthony Blinken in Paris.
"We note together the tragedy that can occur if this country is fragmented or if it disappeared."
