Calm prevails in Tripoli’s Jabal Mohsen

Calm prevailed on Saturday in the Jabal Mohsen neighborhood in the northern city of Tripoli amid a heavy deployment of the Lebanese army units.

This comes after a night of clashes in the city between the Lebanese army and protesters against the deteriorating economic conditions.

The Lebanese army had brought up at night military reinforcements, worked on containing the situation and reopened all roads.
