Harb: Oil and gas exploration file must not be addressed randomly

MP Boutros Harb said that the oil and gas exploration file must not be addressed in an ad-hoc fashion or in the absence of accurate information, but should be studied seriously.

“The Norwegian government provided studies and suggestions on the way the gas and oil exploration file in Lebanon may be tackled. It set the principles that were later used by the Lebanese Cabinet to draft the law issued by parliament”, Harb said following his meeting with the Norwegian ambassador to Lebanon Svein Aass.
