Sources told LBCI on Tuesday that "the former Minister Ali Hassan Khalil did not appear before the judicial investigator in the Beirut Port blast case Judge Tarek Bitar," adding that "his legal representative also did not attend, the reason why Bitar issued an arrest warrant against him."

Furthermore, Bitar was notified of the second response request filed by Representatives Ali Hassan Khalil and Ghazi Zeaiter, as he suspended the investigation procedures until the case is determined.
