Katisha to LBCI: Hezbollah refers to Iran not to Lebanon

Consultant of the Lebanese Forces’ chief retired General Wehbe Katicha said on Friday in an interview with LBCI TV show Nharkom Said that Independence Day is a national occasion that the "cabinet has nothing to do with, therefore why LF MPs did not boycott it."

He stressed that the party is not against President Slieman and wants to maintain the role the president and the army are playing. Katicha added that 7 years of national dialogue did not result in any solution with Hezbollah, emphasizing that the STL accused Hezbollah members for being involved in the assassination of late PM Rafic Hariri, not the LF.

According to Katicha, President Sleiman is fulfilling his duties well while Hezbollah refers to Iran, not to Lebanon.
