Mikati from Baabda: Electricity advance not mentioned in state budget

Following his meeting with President of the Republic General Michel Aoun at Baabda Palace on Friday, Prime Minister Najib Mikati explained that he had briefed the President on the atmosphere of the state budget discussions.

“We have agreed to hold a cabinet session next Thursday at Baabda Palace,” Mikati added.

Moreover, the PM confirmed that the electricity advance will be outside the budget sent to the House of Parliament. "We seek one integrated and comprehensive plan for the electricity sector,” Mikati explained.
