Jouzou: Iran is helping Israel in dividing the Arab world

Mount Lebanon Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Ali Jouzou said that Speaker Nabih Berri forgot the “historical stance” taken by former PM Fouad Siniora who helped save the south and the suburbs during the 2006 war.

Jouzou stressed that the Syrian people are demanding freedom, making their cause a just one. “Those affiliated to the Syrian and Iranian regimes are bound to fall.

The cause of the Syrian people is our cause and we have the duty to uphold the Syrians people’s right to freedom”, Jouzou said.

Jouzou accused Iran of lending Israel a helping hand in its bid to divide the Arab world, adding that the Iranian authorities are spending large amounts of money to spread the seeds of strife.

Mufti Jouzou slammed the latest conference held in Tehran since it only aims at “capitalizing on the Palestinian cause”.
