Tarraf from Baabda: We thank Lebanon for its stance on Ukraine crisis

President Michel Aoun received on Friday a delegation from the European Union, whereby he stressed that Lebanon is against any act of war, considering that returning to the negotiation option is the best way to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

“Pleading for peaceful ways to address inter-country conflicts remains an alternative to violence and dangerous military operations,” Aoun pointed out.

For his part, European Union Ambassador to Lebanon Ralph Tarraf thanked Lebanon for its stance on Ukraine crisis.
