State Security patrols tour filling stations, supermarkets in Sidon

Patrols from State Security, joined by Ministry of Economy representatives, toured filling stations in the southern city of Sidon, forcing a number of them to open their doors after examining their supplies and selling them to the citizens.

They also toured food stores and supermarkets to ensure that no basic foodstuffs, especially oil, flour and sugar were being monopolized or that their price lists were being violated.

No violations were recorded in this regard.
