Yassin partakes in Middle East and North Africa Regional Climate Week 2022

Minister of Environment Nasser Yassin partook on Tuesday in the Middle East and North Africa Regional Climate Week 2022 held in Dubai.

Representing Lebanon, Yassin held a series of meetings and negotiations, especially with regard to the financing required to be provided to developing countries in their efforts and plans for the energy transition and the transition towards a sustainable economy, and to confront the effects of climate change.

The minister discussed with Egyptian Minister of Environment Yasmin Fouad and Jordanian Minister of Environment Muawieh Radaideh ways of joint cooperation on the sidelines of the conference.
