Bishop Saba Esper elected as Interim Patriarch for Greek Orthodox Church

Saba Esper, Greek Orthodox Bishop of Bosra-Houran was elected as Interim Patriarch of the Orthodox Church in place of late Patriarch Hazeem on Friday.
The Sacred Antioch Congregation made the announcement from the Monastery of Our Lady of Balamand.

Bishop Esber confirmed that his duties are limited to the arrangement of the funeral, up until the elections of a new patriarch are held.
