Ambassador of Qatar in Dar al-Fatwa: Qatar is keen on supporting Lebanon

Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Sahlawi, accompanied by advisor Ali Moutawaa, visited Lebanon's Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian on Thursday in Dar al-Fatwa.

The ambassador affirmed Qatar's keenness on supporting Lebanon and its people, in addition to the cooperation with Dar Al-Fatwa for its Islamic and national role.

From his side, Mufti Derian highlighted the support and assistance of Qatar received by Lebanon from the Emir, government and people, especially the fruitful cooperation with The Qatari Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, which supports the salaries of endowment employees in Beirut.

They both discussed Lebanese affairs, the situation in the region, and means of cooperation development between the two countries.
