MP Harb: March14 to resume parliamentary committee's work

MP Boutros Harb said on Monday that March14 forces agreed on resuming the parliamentary committee's work in order to reach the adoption of a new electoral law.              

In this framework, Harb said that these forces are looking positively at some solutions that were previously discussed with Speaker Nabih Berri.       
          

After a meeting with March 14 officials and rapporteurs, Deputy Harb said that saving Lebanon remains the objective of the party adding that discussions pertaining to a surrogate government prior to the resignation of the current cabinet are unprecedented.           
       

Harb stressed on the necessity to conduct the elections by the constitutional due date and adopting a law other than that of the 1960's, adding that a fair representation law must be devise.
