Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hussein Amir Abdel Lahian expressed on Friday hopes that the upcoming parliamentary elections in Lebanon would be successful, expressing Tehran’s readiness to develop the comprehensive relations with Lebanon.
Abdel Lahian’s comments were made during a phone call with his Lebanese counterpart Abdallah Bou Habib as part of his diplomatic discussions with his counterparts ahead of Jerusalem Day.
For his part, Bou Habib stressed the importance of developing the friendship ties with Iran, voicing hopes that diplomatic delegation exchanges will increase following Lebanon's elections.
