Trump says war with Iran 'will end soon'

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that he believes the war with Iran will end soon, ahead of the November 3 congressional midterm elections, but did not explain how.

"It will be over soon. We need to make sure there is never a nuclear weapon," Trump said in an interview with Kansas City radio station KCMO.
He added that the United States would not strike Iran before the elections.
