Sleiman urges further aid for Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon
 
Lebanese President Michel Sleiman met the European Commissioner for International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Kristalina Georgieva on Friday whereby the two discussed further steps  that can be undertaken to help both the Syrian and the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.                    

Sleiman stressed that Lebanon is coming to the aid of the refugees with limited resources, stressing the importance of increasing assistance provided by the states, international bodies and organizations.                  

In a separate meeting, Sleiman met with State Minister Ahmad Karami whereby the two discussed the situation in Tripoli and the importance of responsiveness by all parties to the measures being implemented by the military and security authorities for the benefit of establishing calm in the northern city.                    Sleiman also tacked Tripoli with MP Ahmad Fatfat alongside other governmental topics.  

For his part, Public Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi saw the president whereby he briefed him on the work of the public prosecution.
