For her part, Wronecka said that the visit aims at evaluating the developments after the parliamentary elections.

Later in the day, Wronecka held a meeting with Kataeb party leader MP Sami Gemayel.

Gemayel, for one, stressed the need to form a new government swiftly that “will immediately start setting the necessary plans to curb the accelerating collapse and the continuous depletion of Lebanon's capabilities."

He also expressed his "fear that the lack of an executive authority in these dangerous circumstances, and in light of the exacerbation of crises of all kinds, will lead to complete chaos, destroying Lebanon's hope for advancement."

Wronecka was also received by head of the Independence Movement MP Michel Moawad, whereby they discussed the political, economic, financial and social developments in the country after the parliamentary elections.

During the meeting, they tackled the need to carry out structural reforms that would allow the international community to provide aid to Lebanon and pull it out of the critical situation.

For his part, Moawad praised the role of the United Nations in supporting Lebanon's sovereignty as well as economic and social stability.
