Sleiman calls on political parties to participate in national dialogue

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman asked all political parties to participate in the nation dialogue session which will be held on the 7th of January 2013, and questioned the link between boycotting dialogue and toppling the cabinet.

After a meeting with the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rai, Sleiman said that the rotation of political powers on the base of any law is better than not holding parliamentary elections.

As for the displaced Syrians in Lebanon, Sleiman said that it is important to regulate this issue.

The President also mentioned the file of the Lebanese detainees in Syria and added that the reason of heir detention is no longer clear.
