Al-Hajj Hassan denies allowing sick livestock entry into Lebanon

Agriculture Minister Hussein al-Hajj Hassan denied on Friday reports stating that the ministry allowed the entry of two ships loaded with sick livestock, stressing on the other hand that the ministry prevented thebatch from entering following the examination conducted by the ministry’s veterinarians.           

During a press conference, Al-Hajj Hassan noted that he asked Judge Hatem Madi to launch an investigation into the case.
