Mecanique center returns to business as usual on Monday

The mecanique vehicle inspection center in Hadath returned to business as usual on Monday, after security forces and troops were deployed to the center to organize the circulation of cars coming in for inspection.

The head of the center Walid Sleiman said that the security forces lived up to their promise and provided the needed protection. Sleiman added that the security procedures reassured the employees and the technicians after days of suspending business following Thursday’s attack.

Car owners who have to inspect their vehicles this month must now collect a number at the entrance of the complex and will be admitted to the inspection area only once their number is called.
