Berri calls for joint parliamentary sessions

Speaker Nabih Berri convened a joint session on Monday 17 for the following committees: foreign affairs and immigrants, public works, energy and water, national defense, interior and municipalities, and environment.

The session will be dedicated to looking into executive steps that will be taken to extract oil and gas.

The Head of the Finance Committee MP Ibrahim Kenaan urged the members of the sub-committee affiliated to the finance and budget committee to hold a session on October 10. The session will be dedicated to discuss with the Ministry of Finance and the Audit Bureau task and final accounts.

The Head of the National Defense, Interior and Municipal Committee MP Samir el Jisr called on the members of the committee to attend a session that will be held Thursday afternoon to solely discuss administrative decentralization.
