Kidnapped Kuwaiti national released after his family refused to pay ransom

National News Agency reported on Saturday that anonymous persons kidnapped Kuwait entrepreneur Moein Rashad Khorshid. The agency added that Khorashid was kidnapped while driving his car (BMW X6) in the area of Mansourieh.

The three abductors were disguised as policemen and pretended to be inspecting the car. They asked him to enter another vehicle and took him to an unknown destination.

Khorshid's car was taken to Ramlet el Bayda area where a man and a woman contacted the family of the kidnapped and demanded a $500,000 ransom. However, the family refused to comply and Kordish was later released.
