Sleiman receives letter from Saudi King Abdullah, meets Kahwaji

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman received on Wednesday a letter from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The letter, which was delivered by the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Assiri includes an invitation to the president to attend the 3rd Arab Summit for Economic and Social Development that will be held in Riyadh on the 21st and 22nd of January, 2013.           


Sleiman also received the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon Abdul Aal al-Qanaai who briefed him on the decisions of the Summit of Donor countries which is being held at Kuwait upon the request of the Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah to support displaced Syrians.       
       

Also at the Presidential Palace, the Army Commander General Jean Kahwaji briefed the President on the assistance and relief works carried out by the LAF to aid trapped citizens due to the snow storm.              


Among the visitors of the President was the General Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi who discussed with the president the judicial status as well as the work of the public prosecution offices.
