Rai meets Maronite leaders in Bkerke, Geagea abstains

A meeting was held at the Maronite Patriarchate in Bkerke between Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai and Christian leaders: Kataeb chief Amin Gemayel, FPM leader Michel Aoun and head of the Marada party Sleiman Franjieh.

However, LF chief Samir Geagea did not attend the meeting for security reasons.

Bkerke sources said that the Patriarch called for an electoral law that ensures adequate representation to all sects.
