Houri to LBCI: Proportionality electoral proposal is not applicable

Future bloc MP Ammar Houri said during a phone call with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV Show that "the smaller districts electoral law proposed by March 14 is the most important issue at the moment", stressing that the approved electoral law shall be first referred to the joint parliamentary committees to be later voted in the parliament.

Houri added that the proportionality electoral proposal is not applicable as long as a Lebanese party owns illegitimate arms, emphasizing that "a majoritarian law will be probably voted."
