Sleiman tackles with Siniora, Pharaon electoral affairs
                             
President Michel Sleiman on Monday tackled the electoral laws' proposals currently under study, during his meeting at the Baabda Palace with Future Head, MP Fouad Siniora.            

The pair agreed on the need to reach a modern electoral law that reflects the essence of the constitution.           

The President also met with independent Deputies and political figures who uttered rejection of the Orthodox Gathering's project and support to Sleiman's stances herein.              

Deputy Michel Pharaon had also been at Baabda Palace, whereby he tackled with Sleiman the discussions underway to find an electoral formula that ensures just representation.               

Separately, MP Youssef Khalil discussed with President Sleiman the latest developments pertaining to the Wata Al-jawz incident.                  

President Sleiman also met with a delegation of the "World House of Lebanon" Board of Directors who thanked him for his efforts aimed to give expatriates the right to vote, as well as for supporting the calls for legalizing civil marriage.            

The President of the Republic finally received a delegation of Arab Correspondents Association in the presence of Minister of Social Affairs, Wael Abu Faour, on the eve of President Sleiman's visit to Kuwait to participate in the summit devoted to help displaced Syrians.
