Future Bloc calls for the formation of a "rescue cabinet"

Following the periodical meeting, the Future Bloc reiterated its boycott to any political meeting or parliamentary activity "so long as Hezbollah controls cabinet participates".

In this context, the Bloc called for the formation of a rescue cabinet that spares the country further tension.

The bloc reassured its refusal of the Orthodox gathering electoral law since "it incites extremism among citizens" and stressed on the importance of proceeding with parliamentary discussions to reach a better electoral draft law.

Also on the file of the elections, the Future Bloc added that adopting the law of proportionality in the upcoming parliamentary elections in light of Hezbollah's weapons is "useless".

Separately, the Future Bloc pointed out at the facts and numbers pertaining to the Telecommunication Ministry that MP Ghazi Youssef earlier discussed and added that corruption is being covered by Hezbollah and its allies.

In this context, the Bloc called on President Michel Sleiman and PM Najib Mikati to take the initiative and put an end to the persisting theft of public funds and to corruption.

The Bloc also mentioned that Former PM Saad Hariri's initiative that he will discuss this Thursday via Kalam Nas expresses the Bloc's convictions in addressing the Lebanese people's concerns and added that this initiative aims at finding a way out of the current crisis.
