MP Youssef calls on Minister Sehnaoui to present his documents to the Audit Bureau

Future Bloc MP Youssef Ghazi replied on Friday on what the Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehnaoui said regarding the Chinese Company Huawei.

In this context, MP Youssef said that the real cost to install 300 antennas to strengthen the third generation networks and the fourth generation LTE [long-term evolution, 4G] is only $20 Million.

During a press conference, Youssef said that this deal covers on pilfering transactions and called on the Telecom Minister Sehnaoui to provide the appropriate documents to the Audit Bureau.

On Thursday, Telecommunications Minister Nicholas Sehnaoui responded to the accusations made by the MP Youssef regarding alleged theft and corruption and confirmed that he would be filing a defamation lawsuit against him, hoping that parliament would proceed to lift his political immunity.
