Calm prevails in the South, and movement is almost nonexistent near the border

LBCI correspondent reports that calm has dominated the situation since last night until this morning near the Metula settlement. 

He noted that surveillance aircraft occasionally flew over the area. Many shops remained closed in several villages, where movement appeared acceptable. 

However, in villages near the border strip, movement was almost nonexistent.

"Israeli shelling continued for about an hour in the eastern sectors, and the response targeted open areas, leading to fires," he noted.
