MP Qanso: Presented electoral drafts are all sectarian

MP Assem Qanso said on Wednesday that the sectarian electoral system brought scourges and calamities to Lebanon and assured that the law of proportionality is a solution and "not a point of view".

During a declaration he made from the Parliament, MP Qanso said that the presented electoral laws are all based on sectarianism and will lead to the fragmentation of society as well as "disloyalty" to the Lebanese nation.

MP Qanso called for moving away from sectarian restrictions and for considering Lebanon one electoral district.
