Sleiman calls for an electoral law that does not violate the constitution

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman hoped on Friday for reaching an electoral law that ensures just representation for all Lebanese factions away from the electoral proposals that violate the constitution.

Sleiman discussed the electoral issue with MPs Ahmad Fatfat, Qassem Abdel Aziz, and Qazem al-Kheir whereby he said that Lebanese factions should reach a modern electoral law and ratify it the soonest possible because the decision of holding the parliamentary elections is irreversible regardless to the circumstances and the justifications.
