Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdallah Bou Habib, received on Tuesday French Ambassador, Hervé Magro.
Magro, responding to a question about the escalating tension in south Lebanon said: "Our position is clear, and we are working to reduce the tension."
Regarding whether France is directly engaging with Hezbollah, he said: "We talk to everyone, as you know, and we hope for progress."
