Sleiman: Investigations in Arsal must start by the handing over of wanted persons

President Michel Sleiman said on Saturday that in order to conduct sound, just and transparent investigations into the Arsal case, concerned authorities must start by handing over wanted persons to justice and hearing their testimonies. Addressing a delegation of Arsal mayors, he called on all parties to cooperate with the state and keep Arsal immune from the surrounding turmoil, mainly the Syrian crisis.
In turn, the delegation said that the town of Arsal and its residents are all under the law, stressing their respect for the military institution.
