MP Daher to LBCI: We are ready to take up arms and fight

Future bloc MP Khaled Daher said that the problem in Lebanon lies within "the statelet that is dominating the Lebanese state as a whole," adding that Hezbollah aims at worsening the security situation, especially among the Sunnite community in the country.

"Should Hezbollah insist on maintaining its current behavior, we are ready to lose the suit and peaceful means of resistance and instead take up arms and fight for our dignity," he said.

In an interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV Show on Thursday, MP Daher said that "Hezbollah provides its allies with money and arms", and mentioned that a new Iranian weapon has been smuggled into Syria.

In this regard, MP Daher said that the presence of arms causes strife, undermines democracy, affects the elections' results and marginalizes the Sunnites and Christians, and added that the sit-in staged by Sheikh of the Bilal bin Rabbah Mosque Ahmad Assir is democratic.
