MP Sukkarieh: PM Mikati is supporting the economic bodies

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Walid Sukkarieh stressed Monday on the importance of referring the series of ranks and salaries to parliament adding that Prime Minister Najib Mikati is supporting the economic bodies.

Sukkarieh told LBCI during Nharkom Said that the Lebanese state should solve the basic economic problems and added that the state did not set a strategy to develop the economy.

Sukkarieh considered that accusing Hezbollah of fighting alongside the Syrian regime is a means to cover other parties’ intervention in the crisis and stressed that Hezbollah's interference only came in line with defending Lebanese citizens on the Lebanese-Syrian borders.

As for the elections, MP Sukkarieh said that March8 forces will not present their candidacies at the elections in light of the 1960’s law.

“Lebanese factions should agree upon the hybrid law to ensure proper representation,” he said.
