REPORT: 9 people killed and 29 wounded in Syrian bus crash

A bus carrying a Syrian number plate overturned on Friday in the Kahale area, leaving 29 injured and 9 dead, all of whom were identified as Syrian nationals, the head of operations of the Lebanese Red Cross George Kettani told LBCI.

In this context, the Red Cross transported the dead to Baabda’s government hospital and the wounded to several other hospitals.

It is noteworthy that the security forces brought two cranes in order to pull the bus, which caused a severe traffic jam on the international road.
