British charter flight departs Lebanon, more to follow in coming days

On Wednesday, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced that a charter flight carrying British citizens has left Lebanon, adding that more of these flights are planned in the coming days.

Lammy wrote in a post on X, "The first charter flight carrying British citizens has now departed Lebanon."

He added, "We have arranged another flight for tomorrow and additional flights over the coming days as long as there is demand and it is safe to do so."
