Israel confirms targeting two Hamas leaders in Lebanon

The Israeli military confirmed in a statement that it conducted airstrikes on Saturday targeting two senior Hamas officials in Lebanon.

One of the strikes hit Mohammad Hussein Ali Al Mahmoud, identified as the executive arm of Hamas in Lebanon. Another strike targeted Saeed Alaa Naif Ali, a senior figure in Hamas' military wing, in Tripoli, northern Lebanon.

However, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas also confirmed the killing of two of its leaders in "east and north of Lebanon."
