Al-Mokdad clan calls for releasing their kinsmen

Al-Mokdad clan members called on Thursday for releasing the detainees from their family, warning against further peaceful demonstrations should their calls remain unheard.

In a question directed at the Military Investigating Judge Fadi Sawan, the clansmen asked: “Who is responsible for the compromise in security? Is it al-Mokdad family or the supporters of the Imam of the Bilal bin Rabbah mosque Sheikh Ahmad Assir?”

The al-Mokdads' had earlier cut off the Hadi Nasrallah highway in protest of the detention of members of their family who remain under arrest at the Roumieh prison.
