Lebanese Army orders response to fire originating from Syrian territory

The Lebanese Army, following directives from President Joseph Aoun, has ordered its units deployed along the northern and eastern borders to respond to sources of fire originating from Syrian territory targeting Lebanese land.

The units have begun retaliating with appropriate weapons in response to recent clashes that saw several Lebanese areas come under shelling and gunfire.
