Future Bloc calls for the formation of cabinet that does not include parliamentary candidates

The Future Bloc called on Tuesday for the formation of a cabinet that does not include candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections and works for adopting a new electoral law that ensures just representation for all factions.

Following its weekly meeting, the Future Bloc lauded the national unity atmosphere prevailing in the country and the consensus reached among parties in regards to naming MP Tammam Salam as PM-Designate.

The Bloc stressed the importance of maintaining the positive atmosphere and called for cooperation to agree upon a hybrid electoral law based on the law of proportionality and the majoritarian system.

On another note, the Bloc denounced "Hezbollah’s participation in the Syrian crisis" pointing out that this issue will drag Lebanon into the abyss.
