France calls on Israel to exercise "maximum restraint" in Lebanon

France on Wednesday called on Israel to exercise "maximum restraint" in Lebanon following an Israeli airstrike that targeted Beirut’s southern suburbs last Sunday.

Paris reaffirmed that dismantling Hezbollah's military infrastructure is the sole responsibility of the Lebanese Armed Forces.
