Kheireddine to LBCI: The best law was proposed by Speaker Berri

Caretaker State Minister Marwan Kheireddine stressed on Thursday that "the formation of a new government is closely linked to the adoption of an electoral law", noting that the mandate of the Caretaker government will end after holding the parliamentary elections.

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, Kheireddine hoped that the Parliamentary Communications Commission will convene, pointing out that the law to be submitted will not meet all the parties’ aspirations, adding that the best law was proposed by Speaker Nabih Berri.

On another note, Kheireddine said that he agrees with the head of the National Front bloc MP Walid Jumblatt on all issues, noting that he only disagrees with the stance voiced by Jumblatt in regards to Syria.
