Israeli army issues evacuation warning for Deir Aames residents in southern Lebanon

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said in a post on X that residents of the southern Lebanese town of Deir Aames should evacuate immediately.

Adraee claimed that what he described as ‘’Hezbollah’s activities and rocket launches from the area were forcing the Israeli army to operate in the vicinity of civilian homes.’’

He added that the army ‘’does not intend to harm civilians.’’

He urged residents, for their safety and that of their families, to leave their homes immediately and move at least 1,000 meters outside the town.
