Private school teachers elect new syndicate

Teachers of private schools in Lebanon began on Sunday voting to elect on Sunday their syndicate which is composed of 12 members.

In this regard, almost 14 thousand teachers headed to the ballot boxes to fulfill their rights and vote.

As for the electoral lists, only 2 are competing. The first is headed by President of the School Teachers Union Nehme Mahfouz with candidates from various political parties, religious views, and several Lebanese areas.

As for the second list, it is made up of only 8 candidates; 7 of them are from the Free Patriotic Movement and another from the Syrian Socialist National Party.
