Regional developments between Jumblatt and Papandreou

The Progressive Socialist Party issued a statement saying that MP Walid Jumblatt returned from Crete islands in Greece where he participated in the works of the Committee on the Arab World in the Council of the Socialist International.

The statement added that Jumblatt submitted a political decree that included his own vision for the developments and changes that will be brought by the Arab Spring.

“Jumblatt met with Greek PM George Papandreou to discuss the developments sweeping the Middle East and the Arab World”, the statement stressed. According to the statement, Jumblatt held a series of meetings with officials of the Council of the Socialist International and head of the delegations.
