MP Kassem Hachem to LBCI: US only pressuring Lebanon, Israeli army expanding occupied areas

MP Kassem Hachem affirmed that internal unity is the main strength needed to save Lebanon.

On LBCI's "Nharkom Said" TV show he said, "Will Israel really give up its ambitions?" noting that the international community has failed to reassure the Lebanese on this matter.

He emphasized that the United States is only putting pressure on Lebanon.

He also pointed out, "If the theory is that Hezbollah’s weapons no longer act as a deterrent, then why the American and Israeli fear of them?"

Hachem confirmed that the Israeli army continues to violate Lebanon’s sovereignty and expand its occupation areas, which remain undeclared.

He questioned, "Where is the role of the committee monitoring the agreement?"
