Salam: Political institutions are required to honor entitlements

Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam stressed on Tuesday on the occasion of Labor Day that political institutions are required to honor national and constitutional entitlements and to meet the social and economic challenges facing the country.

In this context, Salam held consultations in regards to the formation of the new government in Msaytbeh whereby he pointed out that the social and economic issues require the tireless efforts of all the Lebanese ‘forces’, mainly the workers who fulfill their duties under respected governments.

In addition, PM-Designate Salam said that efforts should be exerted in order to strengthen the working class in Lebanon, noting that the Lebanese State should heed the economic crisis.
