Speaker Berri meets with Lebanese MPs, discusses the election file

Speaker Nabih Berri held a meeting on Thursday in Ain el-Tineh with Development and Liberation Bloc MPs Ali Bazzi, Michel Moussa, Hani Kobeissi , Ali Khreis, Ghazi Zeayter and Loyalty to Resistance bloc MPs Ali Mokad, Nawwar al-Saheli, and Ali Fayad.

In this context, Berri tackled the current developments in the country, mainly the efforts he is exerting in a bid to agree on a new electoral law for the upcoming parliamentary elections as well as the formation of the new government.

It is worth noting that Speaker Berri received a letter from the Governor of Sao Paolo city, Fernando Haddad, whereby the Governor stressed that the municipality is at the disposal of Lebanon "on many levels".
